When was my house built?
When was my house built?
The best way is to search the census records. Keep searching until your house no longer appears. This would give you an indication when your house was built.
Another option is to search past Electoral Roll - Historical Electoral Rolls. It would be a good idea to use the census and Historical Electoral rolls to get an idea when your house was built.
there is one more option which is to order or view your owner register document via the Land Registry in the hope it mentions a historical document and the date, however it is not conclusive.
To search census records and Historical electoral rolls we recommend FindmyPast.
